Vivo V25 Pro and the vanilla V25 were recently listed on the Google Play Console website with model numbers V2158 and V2202, respectively. Now the Pro version bearing the exact model code has been certified by Geekbench. The listing reveals some finer details regarding the V25 Pro’s internals.
As expected, the Pro variant of the Vivo V25 will draw its power from the MediaTek Dimensity1300 5G SoC assisted by a Mali G77 graphics processor. This octa-core chipset is based on a 6nm architecture with a base frequency of 2.0 GHz. It consists of 4 x 2.0 GHz, 3 x 2.6 GHz, and 1 x 3.0 GHz cores.
As for the Geekbench 5 results, the V25 Pro managed to score 669 points in uni-core and 2268 points in multi-core testing based on the 12GB variant. The handset was listed with 8GB RAM in the Play Console listing, suggesting multiple storage variants possibly featuring a virtual RAM extension.
For multimedia experience, the front of the new Pro Vivo mobile will be equipped with a curved AMOLED panel with Full HD+ 1,080 x 2,376 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The V25 Pro will also inherit the shade-shifting rear casing from its predecessor and will operate on Android 12.
As per the previous rumors, there will be a tri-camera cluster on the back with a 64MP primary lens stabilized by OIS. The 32MP front shooter will be housed in a punch hole with both EIS and OIS. The V25 Pro is expected to be priced around $505 or 1,10,000 PKR. It will be launched in India on August 17 and will soon make its way to other regions, including Pakistan.
