BBK chain brand Vivo is expanding its budget-phone catalog with the addition of the V25 family. As usual, the lineup defaults to a higher-end pro model, a base model, and a budget phone, in this case, the Vivo V25 Pro, V25 5G, and V25e, respectively.
Pro and Base V25 were both announced officially on August 17th. However, the Vivo V25e is yet to debut. For now, the rumor mill has managed to surface the design mockups of V25e, unveiling its color coatings and the design preview. Let's take a quick peek.
It's not the first time we are looking at V25e's design. The mockups of the phone align perfectly with leaked hands-on images of V25e and V25 5G from a few days back. We are looking at a tri-camera layout mounted inside a rectangular protrusion. The back plate has a frosted matte texture with Vivo branding etched on the bottom left corner.
Vivo V25e offers two color finishes, one is Gold, and the other is Black. But the colors seem to coordinate with V25 5G. We can assume both devices to have the same exterior with differences in the feature section only. Per the leaks, Vivo V25e has MediaTek's new Helio G99 SoC under the hood, which clocks at 2.2 GHz, while V25 5G has Dimensity 900 inside.
Leaked previews came along with a critical specifications overview. V25e from Vivo has a 64MP camera setup, 8GB of memory paired with 256 GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery pack to power it up.
The latest standard OS should make its way to V25e as the Funtouch OS UI flavor of Android 12. The handset could arrive with multiple memory configurations where the Vivo phones price tags are expected to start anywhere from PKR 59,000 and above.
