Vivo confirms the launch date for the newcomer V27 series. It will be a global launch, introducing V27 and V27 Pro, slated for the 1st of March, 2023. The third sibling in the lineup, AKA Vivo V27e, has no official announcement about its launch yet. However, Vivo’s Malaysian e-store has dedicated a landing page to it, disclosing numerous facts. The phone’s official microsite from Malaysia confirms the launch date for V27e. It will debut simultaneously with its siblings, V27 and V27 Pro. the page doesn’t give away much, apart from confirming it has a 64MP OIS-supported camera, slim flat rails for design, color-matched UI plus skin texture, and a ring light.
V27e looks well-built, almost semi-premium. There’s minimal bezel waste, a small punch hole, and a sleek profile (only 7.8 mm thickness with a weight of 186g). Its backplate has a petal-like finish. The ring LED has additional features, like detecting ambient light settings and automatic brightness adjustment for moody photographs.
The top side is empty; however, the bottom side of the V27e has a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a down-firing speaker. It discards the 3.5mm audio port to enhance dust or water resistance. There are no further details about the newcomer to the Vivo rate list.
Other specs have surfaced in some reports, and according to those, V27e has an Helio G99 engine at the core, paired with 8GB RAM and 12GB storage. That confirms it is a 4G variant. Google Play console listed its OLED screen with a full HD+ resolution. There’s no side-facing sensor in the renders, which leads to conclude that users will have a sensor under the display.
