Vivo V27e Surfaces Again with Certification; Fresh SIRIM Listing Indicates Nearing Launch

Vivo V27e, after getting listed on the Google Play Console, now appears in the SIRIM database, confirming once again that it's going global. The newcomer belongs to Vivo's future semi-flagship V27 Catalog, which they teased recently. Three models, the standard, the Pro, and the E variant, are rehashed S16 phones from December 2022.

Coming back to V27e, it's the cheapest sibling in the lineup and has entered the Malaysian database SIRIM, indicating an imminent arrival in the respective region. Apart from listing the model number V2237, V27e didn't reveal anything noteworthy in the certification document.

We are already familiar with V27e since it has revealed many crucial details via Google Play Console. The newcomer bears a 1080 x 2400 display in their datasheet with 440 PPI pixel density. In all likelihood, it's an AMOLED 120Hz panel sized 6.62 inches, the same as the S16e.

As for the processor, the new V Vivo mobile houses a MediaTek MT6789 SoC manufactured on TSMC's 6nm fabrication and has excellent efficiency. It is also known as Helio G99, and for those unaware, it's the best chip to find in a mid-range segment. However, it will lack 5G support and the enhanced GPU that powered the original S16e.

V27e's camera specs will suffer a massive blow for being the cheapest variant in the series. The 50MP alpha lens is fine, but the secondary 2MP + 2MP will only act as auxiliary units. On the front side resides a 16MP sensor to shoot self-portraits. In line with the S16e, the protruded island on V27e's back has a ring LED flash. Other details on the phone are yet to surface. In Pakistan, the Y16 is the latest to reach the store shelves. Vivo Y16 official price in Pakistan is Rs. 67,999 while it initially got launched at 49,999 PKR.
