Vivo V30 has been in our market for many months and its official retail has been static at Rs 136,000 for all this time. But they’ve slapped a sweet discount of Rs 6,000 on it now, so you can grab its 12/256GB trim for as low as Rs 130,000 moving on.
It’s a primo curve-design build wrapped around a 6.78” AMOLED of 1.5k resolution, and it’s plenty bright at 2800 nits brightness. And that’s just the beginning, because this V30 phone even has HDR10+ and that screen glides when you navigate the UI at a 120Hz refresh rate.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is a solid choice of an SoC for V30, especially for that price range. This one is a 2.63GHz engine in a class just under the Snapdragon 8 series so it will be snappy for every task loaded on it, and might even handle GPU-intensive games very well.
They gave it 80W fast charging Power Delivery to fully recharge Vivo's latest flagship mobile’s 5000mAh battery from 0-100 in less than 48 minutes, at least for what they claim. Those cameras are just as good, host to three 50 MP lenses: 50 MP selfie + 50 MP Main unit + 50 MP Ultrawide.
This setup is good for a maximum of 4k 30FPS recording on the front and the backside. Vivo V30 even has WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, plus there’s a fingerprint reader here on top of that AMOLED panel. Durability is not a big concern here because they layered its front with Schott Alpha glass, and the chassis itself is IP54-rated.
