Vivo’s affordable phones aren’t the only victims of surging prices. Their premium V30 series is in the same murky waters. Vivo V30e (8/256 GB) revises its price. It was sitting pretty at Rs 90,000 before, but it will cost Rs 96,000 from here on out.
The same goes for the vanilla Vivo 30 (12/256 GB). You’ll find it in the market retailing at Rs 136,000 from now on. While in the old days, it would’ve cost you Rs 130,000. Both get a 6000 rupees bump in their prices. Keep scrolling to see the brief on their specifications.
Vivo V30
Vivo V30 is one of the premium ones. Curving glass is a charming look for it. There’s an AMOLED 6.78” panel on the front. It refreshes at 120Hz and pushes over 1.5k pixels at near WQHDA+ resolution. And it can’t get better than up to 2800 nits peak HDR10+ brightness.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 pulls the load here. And it uses up to 12 GB of RAM to do it. That gives this phone a serious kick in performance. And the next best thing about it is a 5000 mAh battery. It does 80W, almost instantaneous recharging (100% in 48 minutes).
We have a flash and an Aura light on the back. Cameras assigned to Vivo V30 are 50MP (first) + 50MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (assistant). They also mount a 50 MP camera on the front for selfies. It also keeps things light and slim at 186g and 7.5mm. A screen-bound optical fingerprint sensor is here for privacy.
Vivo V30e
Vivo V30e banks on a slower 44W charging to refill a 5500mAh battery. Cameras assigned to this one are 50MP (main) + 8MP (wide). And up front, we see a 32 MP selfie shooter in a punch hole. It does have a better IP rating than the original one if you’re into it.
There’s an AMOLED panel here for sure. But there’s no HDR10. 1300nits is the maximum brightness it can reach. Then we have 1080p FHD+ resolution here and Schott Xensation glass shielding the AMOLED from scuffs and marks. Not to forget the 120Hz refresh they provide here.
It’s a massive dip in performance when you move from 7 Gen 3 to Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Vivo V30e has the latter and only 2.2GHz clock speed. There’s only 8 GB RAM here, but it will do the trick. Software guiding both phones is their Funtouch 14 x Android 14.
