The Chinese tech maestro has just taken the wraps off its latest creation, the Vivo V30 Lite. It marks the initiation of the company’s newborn V30 series. Interestingly, the lineup also breaks the naming tradition by being the first in the V-series to sport an even number, unlike odd V29, V27, and V25 monikers.

Vivo V30 lite is a performance and design hybrid sporting the Snapdragon 695 SoC with a generous 12GB of RAM and a spacious 256GB of internal storage. On the soft end, it runs Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13, although specifics about the potential OS update remain unconfirmed.

One of the standout features of the V30 Lite is an AMOLED E4 display that stretches 6.67-inch across with 120Hz refresh and FullHD+ resolution. It also breaks the barriers with 1,150 nits peak brightness. The device doesn't just look good; it has a design specialized for comfort and ease of use, with a svelte 7.69mm profile and a weight of 190g.

The camera setup on the V30 Lite is decent. The rear quad-lens array comprises a 64MP primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. However, the real showstopper is the massive 50MP selfie camera, promising exceptional self-portraits. The rear cameras of Vivo's latest 5G smartphone have Aura Light circular flash as portrayed by the images.

Beyond its camera prowess, the V30 Lite checks all the boxes for connectivity and additional features. It has 5G antennas and an IP54 rating, making the device resistant to dust and splashes. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and NFC support.

The Vivo V30 Lite is making its debut in Mexico with a price tag of MXN8,999 (~USD 530/ PKR 147,500). Available in two chic colors – Black Forest and Rose Gold – the device makes a loud statement. While its availability in other markets is yet to be confirmed, the V30 Lite will likely set sail for a global journey soon.
