Vivo V30 Pro is next on the company’s list for the official unveiling. While Vivo has already unleashed the vanilla V30 and V30 Lite into the global market, the V30 Pro has been a mystery, with leaked specs hinting at some high-end components, placing it in the mid-range segment.

Leaked details, sourced from a Geekbench benchmark listing (courtesy of MySmartPrice), reveal that the Vivo V30 Pro packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM, showcasing a potent combination for performance.

Running on the latest Android 14, the benchmark listing confirms an up-to-date Google firmware. Speculations suggest that the V30 Pro might share similarities with the China-exclusive Vivo S18 Pro, albeit with a few distinctions. The S18 Pro boasts a superior MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256/512GB of storage.

Despite potential differences, common ground exists in the spec sheet, including a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple camera setup featuring 50MP + 50MP + 12MP lenses. Both latest Vivo flagship mobiles  sport a standard 5,000 mAh battery.

While the V30 series made its global debut last week, a few markets still await the lineup’s official deployment. MySmartPrice reports that the V30 and V30 Pro are due for release in a major Asian market come March, offering ZEISS co-engineered cameras tailored specifically for that region.

The question lingers on whether the Vivo V30 Pro's release in that market will coincide with its global launch, adding fuel to the anticipation for smartphone enthusiasts worldwide. As more details unfold, stay tuned for insights into what could be Vivo's most potent mid-range contender to date.
