Vivo V40 Lite is all-of-a-sudden on everyone’s radar popping up on multiple news publications in the last few hours. Per the headlines, the future Vivo mid-ranger has secured Bluetooth SIG certification. And events from the past mostly indicate that an official launch is on its way, likely within a month.

Listed in the SIG document, the Vivo V40 Lite has declared the serial number V2341 (sequel to last year’s V30 Lite). While the listing is mostly blank, it does confirm that the oncoming model secures Bluetooth 5.1 tech for well-rounded connectivity. Saving those two, there’s nothing noteworthy in the document.

Before signing onto Bluetooth SIG, the V40 Lite also appeared on a GCF certification confirming its 5G status. That means a 5G-enabled SoC might follow suit, likely from MediaTek’s Dimensity or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 series chipsets.

With few legitimate details available, we assume that Vivo's latest 5G smartphone will follow closely on the heels of its predecessor. Recalling the handset’s features, the Lite V30 model bagged an ultimate camera setup with a 64MP primary shooter and a 50MP selfie snapper on the front.

The screen up front was backed by AMOLED technology. With a decent 6.67-inch size, the front panel lifted the phone’s elegance with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and slim uniform bezels on all sides. The small unintrusive punch hole up top was also admirable.

As far as the power is concerned, the V30-Lite backs a solid 4800 mAh battery that recharges over 44W input. Snapdragon 695 is one of its primary highlights, alongside Android 13 and Vivo’s FunTouchOS 13. Picking on the hints, we can say with confidence that Vivo V40 lite will compete in the mid-range segment.
