We have talked a lot about Vivo V40 and V40 Pro here. But their V series, more often than not, has upwards of four devices. Vivo V40 Lite came to our attention yesterday. We are talking about early leaks and certifications. So, there wasn't much in the way of official specs. Still, 91Mobiles did spill a high-def render.

Bluetooth SIG and GCF did prove that the phone exists by certifying it. 91Mobiles dug up some more info after that. V40 Lite could be a remake of the V30e phone. Their designs look similar. You can tell from the renders there's a circular hump with three cameras on the back.

That curved display on the surface is one more thing suspiciously similar to V30e. Leaks about it are consistent for a 6.78" AMOLED FHD+ at 120Hz. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip may pull the hard labor here, that and up to 8 GB RAM. Storage will vary, but there will be a 256 GB option.

We get to revisit the same bi-lens camera system that was there before in V30e. It's an assortment of a 50 MP first camera with an 8 MP helper for ultrawide snaps. But the latest Vivo budget flagship will get one more sensor at 2 MP. That front dot punch hole is where we find a 32 MP selfie snapper tucked away.

44W wired charging is not what we'd see in that segment. But, the Vivo V40 Lite does stand out in another way. It has a 5500 mAh power source, among other specs. A fingerprint ID atop the screen and an IP64 rating will also play in its favor.
