Vivo V40 is classy, miles better than the old V30, and probably the best Vivo phone ever to land on Pakistani doorsteps in years and there are many obvious reasons you should consider it. Its official debut in our market is only the start of the V40 series, but for now, we’ll stick with the overview of the vanilla Vivo V40.

Their V series has always been mediocre, but the V40 is the first one to step it up, and it is now at a semi-flagship level due to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 2k AMOLED. Plus, the IP68 rating makes it even more premium, because it can safely submerge in 1.5m water for half an hour and still survive.

V40 is also a curved AMOLED 6.78” phone doing 4500nits peak brightness, and there’s a 1260 x 2800 pixel count with a 120Hz refresh rate. Everything here is peak technology. Also, you will get a fingerprint ID and a 50 MP selfie unit in a punch hole with that display.

50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP primary units lay on the back, but it misses out on a telephoto being a non-Pro. V40 is way better than V30 on the battery side because they upgraded it to a 5500mAh cell and up to 80W charging. And inside it, we have Funtouch OS 14 x Android 14 in the Vivo's latest 5G phone that pulls everything together.

Vivo V40 is too slim at 7.6 mm to have a fingerprint reader on the side, so they gave it an optical one on the AMOLED panel. There are skins in Stellar Silver, Nebula Purple, Ganges Blue, Moonlight White, etc. that work nicely with its design elements. It passes as a high-class phone instantly. Vivo V40 12/256 GB has an official price tag of Rs 139,999/- in Pakistan.
