Vivo V40 Pro Signs up for Launch in Thailand; NBTC Certification Spotted Online

You must get to know the Vivo V40 series. It’s fun-looking but premium all the same. We know from reports that Vivo V40 Pro and V40 are the phones they are working on right now. And the proof of that is NBTC certification for the V40 Pro that hit our radar a day before.

Thailand NBTC mentioned this one in a certifying document. They say ‘V2347’ is the model code Vivo wants to assign it. Folks on the web dug deeper into that code when they discovered it on EE’s link in Europe. That will mean that the UK and Europe have certified V40 Pro, so it’s no doubt launching there.

But the word on the street is that it’s only a rebranded Vivo S19 Pro. We won't be surprised if that’s true. They pull stunts like this all the time. S19 Pro is a model that China got last month. You can mull over some of its specifications to get an idea of what the Vivo new flagship mobile is like.

S19 Pro did 120Hz and 4500 nits brightness. AMOLED 6.78” size panel helped it pull 1260x2800 resolution. There’s a 5500 mAh battery. And we know the charger max wattage it allows is 80W. Seems great, almost a deluxe product from every angle.

If they are twins and only have different names, there will be an MTK Dimensity 9200+ SoC in the play. Android 14 FunTouch OS will help. Also S19 Pro had a 50 MP alpha OIS shooter and an 8 MP Ultrawide. Now the question is whether the Vivo V40 Pro will get all the specs of the original or only some. But that’s for the company to confirm, not us.
