Vivo is gearing up for the global launch of its V30 series; however, the brand is simultaneously working on the next-generation Vivo V40 lineup. The latest development comes from GCF (Global Certification Forum), which approved the Vivo V40 SE 5G, indicating an imminent launch soon.

Earlier this month, the Vivo V40 SE 5G surfaced with model number V2337 on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. At the time, the device was going by the title Vivo V40 Lite 5G. The recent GCF certification confirms that the newcomer is dubbed Vivo V40 SE 5G. The listing also solidifies the device's progress toward an official launch.

GCF certification ensures the approved device is compatible with various cellular networks globally. The snippet from GCF provides details about specific network bands supported by the Vivo V40 SE 5G, including a comprehensive range for 5G support.

Despite multiple certifications, details about the Vivo 5G new mobile's specifications remain elusive. Alongside GCF and Bluetooth SIG, the V40 SE also appeared in the Google Play Supported Devices list, adding to the anticipation towards its global release.

While there are no concrete specifications, speculations suggest a potential launch in the second quarter of this year. The Vivo V40 SE and V40 Lite likely build on the features of V30 Lite, which secures a Snapdragon 695 processor. The Vivo V30 Lite brings a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a FunTouch OS based on Android 13.

For photography, the phone relies on a 50MP front camera with autofocus, a triple rear camera setup (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), and a 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Vivo fans eagerly await official announcements from Vivo to uncover the full details of the Vivo V40 SE 5G.
