Vivo V40 to Hit Pakistan in a Few Days with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 2K AMOLED

They launched the Vivo V40 series worldwide some time ago, and it was obvious from the get-go that eventually it would land in Pakistan as well. Nothing can be said about the V40 Pro for now, but our inside sources say that the base Vivo V40 is very close to launch in our market, hopefully in a few days.

Their V series models have always struggled to cross the fringes of a mid-tier platform, but the V40 has done it, and it is now at a semi-flagship level due to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 2k AMOLED. Plus, the IP68 rating makes it even more premium, because it can safely submerge in 1.5m water for half an hour and still survive.

V40 is also a curved AMOLED 6.78” phone doing 4500nits peak brightness, and there’s a 1260 x 2800 pixel count with a 120Hz refresh rate. Everything here is peak technology. Also, you will get a fingerprint ID and a 50 MP selfie unit in a punch hole with that display.

50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP primary units lay on the back, but it misses out on a telephoto being a non-Pro. V40 is way better than V30 on the battery side because they upgraded it to a 5500mAh cell and up to 80W charging. And inside the Vivo new 5G model, we have Funtouch OS 14 x Android 14 that pulls everything together.

Vivo V40 is too slim at 7.6 mm to have a fingerprint reader on the side, so they gave it an optical one on the AMOLED panel. There are skins Stellar Silver, Nebula Purple, Ganges Blue, Moonlight White, etc. that work nicely with its design elements and it passes as a high-class phone instantly.
