Vivo V40e 5G has Appeared on IMEI Database, Leaving Clues About its Imminent Launch

It’s almost time to part ways with the V30 series. We need to look forward to the V40 series now. After all, this is close to the time of year when Vivo sweeps the oldies under the rug. Begin construction of the new lineup. Their new V-class phones have a member called ‘Vivo V40e 5G.’ And it has visited the IMEI database already.

Folks at Gizmochina spotted it. They associate the code ‘V2418’ with the V40e 5G. But there is also one called V40e 4G. It has a different model number in the IMEI database. We are talking about the 5G one in this piece of news. So don’t get confused.

IMEI database is usually the start of a long streak. But, like always, there’s not much to tell from their document alone. Vivo's latest premium mobiles only spilled the model numbers for us on IMEI. Nothing more.

At least we got to discern the names and tell you preeminently about their distinct SoCs. We have zero knowledge of what chipsets they are using this time. All we can tell is that V30e had Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, only in single form with 8GB RAM.

They want to split one model into two, so there’s little confusion about disparity. Still, we are used to these kinds of stunts from Vivo. There isn’t any info about V40e’s launch date. But it has big shoes to fill with it being the heir to Vivo V30e.
