There is always a member in their V clan that has “e” in the moniker, but it joins the party late and its price tag is usually way lower than the others. V40 and V40 Pro should see a third join them soon, going by the name of Vivo V40e, and its specs and renders have spilled out ahead of time.
It’s a render with a bronze color body and a curving AMOLED screen that makes V40e look just as deluxe as other V40 builds. Reports say that they call this one ‘Royal Bronze’ color and we have to admit it is a very classy look for a phone that is only mid-tier.
But it’s not only the design that will have people gushing over it because its specs will be just as spicy if these rumors are true. They say that the AMOLED curved panel of the V40e will touch 4500 nits peak HBM, a specialty that Vivo mostly keeps in the high-end categories.
Then, there are some more rumors that Vivo's new premium handset will be quick at charge due to its 80W input, plus there will be a 5500 mAh battery in a very slim chassis. It might even be one of their slimmest models this year, and they didn’t even cut down the battery to achieve it.
One more thing that helped us categorize this Vivo V40e as a mid-ranger is the leaked Dimensity 7300 chip inside it plus 8GB of RAM. There are 8 cores within it and four of those are 2500MHz, so things are already looking up performance-wise. They will probably break V40e out of the cover by September's end, and that’s when you’ll learn about its other specifications.
