We’ve heard plenty from the rumor mill about the Vivo V40e, but now, it’s about time we share the official details with you since they formally teased the phone yesterday. Its launch is close, we’ll see it debut on September 25th, and these are the specs we found on their overview page.

It will be a slim phone, you can tell from its design, and on paper it will measure only 7.5mm and 180g, even with the 5500mAh battery inside it. It curves from the back and the front ever so slightly, and that helps V40e with its slimness.

That curving panel you see in the front will be a 6.7” AMOLED and it should be an HDR10+ 120Hz 1080p resolution screen home to a 50 MP selfie unit lying inside a punch hole crop. Vivo’s focus on cameras and AI is getting sharp lately, and this phone will be just as good at both things.

There’s a blacked-out portion back side that gives you two lenses and one of them will be your main Sony IMX 882 OIS sensor at 50 MP resolution, but the other will be an 8 MP ultrawide. They say the Vivo's new semi-flagship can record 4k clips, plus there’s an AI Portrait suite here that can AI erase and AI enhance your shots.

We also saw the 80W FlashCharge in one of those sections, and that about wraps up their overview, they didn’t even say anything about its chip or memory options. But if the rumors were on point, Vivo V40e will get you a Dimensity 7300 chip with a max 12 GB RAM variant.
