After the Vivo V50 debut in Pakistan last month, a new "Lite" variant joins the series with an affordable price tag and a new design. The device goes on Pre-order today with separate 5G and 4G variants. The specs are slightly downgraded, but the latest Vivo V50 Lite comes with a bigger battery and the same AI features as the standard model.
The pre-order details we’ve received, show the Vivo V50 Lite 4G (8/256GB) variant available for early booking till 23rd April. The V50 Lite 5G with (12/256GB) memory trim shall close the pre-order window on April 15th, leaving only a few days till the phone’s retail deployment in the market.
Two variants released in Pakistan have different RAM capacities: 8 GB and 12 GB. The former is a cheaper LTE variant with Snapdragon 685. The latter has been revealed with Dimensity 6300 SoC, which makes the device slightly expensive, but upgrades you to 5G connectivity. As for the rest of the specifications, this is what you can expect.
A 120Hz 6.77” flat AMOLED lies on top with 1800 nits local peak brightness. Before we dive into more specs, the Vivo mobile price might interest potential buyers. What makes the V50 Lite even more impressive is an SGS Low Blue Light Certification. Vivo even claimed a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio on this device with thin, uniform bezels and a small punch hole in the screen for a 32MP selfie shooter.
Vivo V50 Lite either brings a Dimensity 6300 SoC from MediaTek or a Snapdragon 685 from Qualcomm, depending on the variant you purchase. Those aren’t high-end SoCs, but they can easily handle basic gaming and multitasking with 8GB or 12GB memory trims.
The new Urban design, as the company calls it, is unique and stands out in the crowd. There’s a premium 50MP dual-lens layout on the back and Vivo’s signature ring LED flash at the bottom. Vivo V50 Lite is built tough with SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance, it’s Military-Grade certified, and we have an IP65 rating here.
Curiously, the V50 Lite has the BlueVolt 6500mAh cell built into a 7.8mm thin frame. BlueVolt is Vivo’s placeholder for the new Si/C type battery. It should recharge fast due to the phone’s 90W input support (100% in 52 minutes), but more importantly, it will maintain up to 80% health in five years.
Vivo V50 Lite has all the AI features of the standard V50: AI Erase 2, AI Photo Enhance, and AI Studio. With the pre-order window officially open, the price tag for the Vivo V50 Lite has also been confirmed. The 4G (8/25GB) variant costs Rs 73,999. The higher-end 5G model with 12/256GB memory is priced at Rs 89,999. The newcomer has a fairly balanced spec sheet, and it costs almost the same as last year’s Vivo V40 Lite in Pakistan.
