Vivo V50 Tested on Geekbench, Leaked Poster Hints at Nearing Launch

Vivo V50 co-engineered with ZEISS is about to launch, and we have some of its details right here, exposed at Geekbench’s testing platform. We’ve been hearing conflicting reports about the phone’s SoC and internal specs, but no more. This is what we found on the benchmark database.

Geekbench tested the phone with a serial code V2427. We’ve been tracking the same model number through certification listings, so we know for a fact that this phone is the Vivo V50. This listing showed the SoC’s Vulkan performance on Geekbench, which is essentially a test for its GPU.

It scores 4122 points on Vulkan with the Geekbench version 6.3.0. Now, on to the more important information: the SoC platform, RAM, and Android version. From what we see in the screen grab right here, the Vivo V50 has 8 GB RAM, which is ideal for a midrange phone.

It pairs the RAM with a 2.63 GHz octa-core engine, which the internet knows to be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 4nm architecture. A quick look at the Vivo price catalog places it in the premium segment. From that point, it wasn’t hard to find the GPU information. This phone will use Adreno 720 GPU to handle the graphics. It can handle light gaming but not the GPU-intense gaming titles that have recently come out.

If you have already used a V40, you can expect the same performance from the V50 by Vivo since they share an identical SoC. 8GB RAM is also a nice addition, though you can expect more options to extend the variety. Everything is held together by an Android 15 operating system.

Vivo often uses the FunTouch OS 15 skin for the global models, and nothing is suspected to change this time either. That about wraps up what Geekbench reported yesterday. Fortunately, we came across another piece of news — a leaked poster that mentioned Vivo V50 only has 17 days left till the launch.

Now, this news has not been corroborated by Vivo at all, so take this with a pinch of salt. But what is corroborated is the Vivo V40's Price in Pakistan, no cuts so far and still holding strong at 13,999 since its launch back in October 2024. Coming back to the upcoming V50, the launch was allegedly set for February 18th. Whether or not it is still a possibility is still under scrutiny, but we cross our fingers and hope for more details to surface, regarding the Vivo V50.
