Vivo V50e Visits Geekbench AI to Reveal Android Version, RAM, and SoC

The Upcoming V50e will be the entry point to the Vivo's new semi-flagship lineup. You've surely heard rumors about the standard V50. It has been in the headlines quite a lot, but we’ve rarely seen Vivo V50e in the reports. Today, thanks to the Geekbench AI database, we have info about its RAM, Android version, and, more importantly, the Chipset.

Vivo V50e is assigned the model code V2428, the same number GSMA’s IMEI database reported in an early certification. That’s how we know that the Geekbench’s test results belong to Vivo V50e. At any rate, these are the specifics about the handset, revealed by the new scoresheet.

First off, let’s talk about its SoC. Just like the sibling V50, which is mounting the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC as its predecessor Vivo V40, we have V50e using the same old Dimensity 7300 engine. That’s not to say that the chipsets are dated, but since the V series is refreshed every 6-months, there aren’t any updated chipsets to be used either.

Vivo V50e will be using an 8-core 2.5 GHz Dimensity 7300 engine for processing, while the RAM tested with this prototype is only 8 GB. No other variants were mentioned in the result, but you can be sure to see more RAM and storage combinations when it comes out. Considering the Vivo mobile price, it is expected to offer competitive specs for its segment.

Now that Android 15 has been stably reaching all 2025 handsets, Vivo plans to do the same with all its devices from here on out. We see in the report that Vivo V50e also uses an Android 15 OS by default, and it might dress up in FunTouch UI skin. We’ve heard rumors that AI will central to this generation of V devices with a feature teased as Smart AI.

Vivo V50 has been given an official launch date of February 17th, and lucky for us, the phone was caught with a formal landing page before the announcement. Smart AI is one of the features Vivo teased on the website, and fingers crossed, this will be available on all three devices in the lineup this year.

Without getting into the technical nitty-gritty, you should know that Geekbench AI tested Vivo V50e with the Single precision FP32 scores of 529 and half-precision FP16 points of around 1316. The upcoming successor to Vivo V40e scored around 2632 in the Quantized Precision Test. V50e is coming, and the Geekbench’s test run is proof that it is nearing launch.
