Vivo X200 Series Tipped with SoC Details; It Might be the First with Dimensity 9400

We can all agree on one thing. The Vivo X series is in league with camera phones by Samsung or Google Pixel. Flagship everything is this clan's forte. Their new Vivo X100 series went over the top in camera and internal stats. If you go by the leaks, or the history for that matter. The Vivo X200 lineup will be heading the same route.

There are some rumors that we spotted on Weibo making sense. The X200 family may be the first with Dimensity 9400 at their hearts. Part of their charm is MediaTek working its magic behind the scenes for Vivo flagships. Vivo X100 was working with Dimensity 9300 before it. Then it only makes sense that X200 gets the MTK D9400.

Qualcomm and Mediatek always have a tough go at each other. We'll, no doubt, see Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 trading blows. MTK CEO Cai Lixing was the one to tease TSMC's advanced 3nm (N3E) node for this new flagship SoC. But we everyday users can call that a performance and efficiency bump.

We also believe that it may advance Vivo in its AI operations. That intent focus on performance and AI might even help them catch up to Snapdragon. But who knows if this leak will pan out. Unless the company confirms it, we urge you to take this with a hint of salt.

SmartPikachu also said in the leak that this X200 family should keep the priorities straight. Flagship Periscope Zoom cameras will be there like they always are. And we may even see larger fast-charging batteries this time in those upgrades. But Dimensity 9400 seems inevitable with their Vivo X200 series.
