Vivo recently went on record to announce the launch timeline of the Vivo X70 series. The upcoming line of flagships is set to debut in China on September 9. But until yesterday, no word of its global release was heard. The rumor mill has now uncovered these details.
Courtesy of the phone leaker Abhishek Yadav who tweeted the international release timeline for the Vivo X70 series, we learn that Vivo's newest flagship lineup will hit the global market on September 10 (just one day after the domestic launch.) Vivo is also using the X70 series as a launchpad to introduce OriginOS to the rest of the world.
As the promos in the tweets note, the global X70 series will be shipped with the OriginOS and its Kinetic wallpapers — a live wallpaper feature that lets procedurally generated backgrounds adapt to the time of the day and the user habits. The same promo images also hint at the previously-mentioned timeline.
Reliable sources inform WhatMobile that the X70 series is headed to Pakistan following its global debut. The first X70 edition to hit the market will be the Vivo X70 Pro 5G. It sports a faux leather finish (or Vegan Leather as branded by BBK phone makers.) The display melts into the edges and houses the front camera inside a centered O-hole cutout.
The camera system is the big highlight of this series, and the X70 Pro is no exception. Vivo co-engineered the cameras with ZEISS optics. The camera housing is covered in ZEISS T* coating to minimize light artifacts and unwanted flare.
The next-gen Gimbal Stabilization 3.0 keeps the cameras steady. Plus, the new-gen Vivo X70 Pro also comes with a periscope-telephoto camera for excellent, loss-free zooming at flagship Vivo mobile prices.
