Vivo continues to rely on its budget-friendly Android phones as significant contributors to its overall revenue. The company regularly introduces new and revamped devices with shorter intervals to maintain a steady stream of offerings. Among those offerings is the upcoming Vivo Y02t. Here’s everything we have discovered about the phone.
Paras Guglani, the infamous leak hunter, suggests the device is assigned a model number V2254 (Global) — the same model recently stopped by TKDN and Geekbench’s database. However, at the time, no one could confirm its moniker.
Guglani confirms that the device gracing this model number is Vivo Y02t 4G, and alongside, he tipped its specifications and launch timeline. According to Re, the phone will transcend to the outside world in May. It will be an LTE device endowed with an MTK Helio chipset.
The front of the latest 4G Vivo mobile will boast an FHD+ screen, decently sized at a 6.5” diagonal width. The primary camera will likely be 13MP in resolution — standard with Vivo phones in the budget segment. There’s still no word about the phone’s selfie camera.
Under the hood, Vivo Y02t 4G will pack a 5000mAh cell with input support of fast 18W charging. The phone's storage capacity remains undiscovered though Guglani’s report suggests it will pair with up to 4 gigabytes of RAM. There’s still time left for the rest of its details to surface, and we will endeavor to report the information as soon as it becomes available.
