Vivo's budget-friendly smartphone lineup will soon welcome a new exciting member, the Vivo Y03. Recently obtaining Bluetooth SIG certification, Vivo Y03 has now received approval from Singapore's IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) and China's CQC (China Quality Certification Center).

These regulatory nods strongly indicate that the Y03 is gearing up for a dual-market launch, addressing both the Chinese and global consumer bases. The IMDA listing sheds light on the device with model number V2332, affirming its Bluetooth version and WiFi capabilities.

In parallel, the CQC certification brings additional insights, revealing the Y03's support for 15W charging. While other specifications are yet to go official, the Bluetooth SIG certification hints at a built-in Bluetooth 5.0. Beyond these certifications, details about the Vivo Y03 remain relatively scarce.

As the successor to Vivo Y02 (released in 2022), the Vivo Y03 positions itself as an entry-level smartphone. The two-year-old device features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. Under the hood, a MediaTek Helio P22 processor and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU power the new budget Vivo mobile, coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The Y02's camera setup includes an 8MP single lens on the rear and a 5MP sensor on the front for basic photography needs. Keeping the device powered is a substantial 5000mAh battery, though charging remains limited to 10W with a micro USB port, leaving room for improvement.

Expect Y03 to follow its predecessor with somewhat similar specs. Anticipation is building for the official unveiling of the Vivo Y03. Stay tuned for more detailed insights into the features of this upcoming budget-friendly smartphone.
