Vivo Y03t Rolls Out; Unisoc T612 Chip & 90Hz Display at a Shockingly Low Price

Vivo Y03t has gone official in the Philippines. Say what you will about Vivo, but they sure know how to make an all-rounder budget phone. And if you talk about Y03t, it may be even less of a challenge, considering it’s only a rebranded Vivo Y03 with the chipset replaced. Here’s what Vivo Y03t is all about.

The original Y03 debuted in March. And it brought a Helio G85 with an eerily identical look. Vivo Y03t has switched to a cheaper and less powerful Unisoc T612 engine, but it makes up for the compromise with an even lower cost. For the rest of its features, though, it touches base with the original phone.

Up front rides a 6.56” IPS display on Vivo Y03t. There’s HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, so it’s smooth with clear visuals. And then we have a slightly obtrusive notch at the top that hides a 5MP selfie snapper. At ~528 nits, this screen is plenty bright as well.

Here’s what you need to know about its essentials and battery. A 5000mAh cell and 15W wired charging are standard in this segment. There’s no fingerprint reader or NFC on the Vivo's latest budget mobile. We do, however, see dual-band WiFi and IP54 dust and waterproofing.

The camera setup here is just as ordinary. Although it seems there are two lenses, there’s only one functioning camera with a 13MP sensor. That second lens is auxiliary. We have Space Black and Gem Green finishes here, 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage, all for a low cost of $78 (~PKR 21,700).
