Vivo Y04 Arriving in Pakistan Soon with 5500mAh Battery & Anti-Drop Design

Vivo will soon release the successor to their old Vivo Y03, and Pakistan will be one of the first countries to receive the new handset. The all new Y04 is expected to be available in the local market within the next few days. Recently we got to look at the phone’s certifications at the FCC, NCC, TDRA, and CQC, but now we have our hands on a feature infographic for Vivo Y04. It revealed some interesting details about the phone.

This newcomer is heading for Pakistan soon. We have a few renders here, and it seems that Vivo Y04 got a full design makeover. The vertical camera zone houses two lenses, and the flat chassis brings out the modern aesthetic Vivo is going for with this handset. When you compare Vivo Y04 with its forerunner, this new look seems favorable.

Among other things Vivo focused on, it’s the durability that got our attention in the first place. Vivo even advertises the certifications from the get-go on this Y04 feature collage. TUV SUD certification and an SGS certification, on top of that, are some hints that the phone is made with durability in mind.

Vivo says that the phone has been tested for IP64 rating. That’s entry-level water safety and seemingly high-grade dust proofing. The new Vivo Y mobile will come with a Wet Touch feature, so the screen won’t go haywire when you spill something on it. The panel will discern your actions from accidental touches.

Another thing we learned is that Vivo Y04 scored a 5-star rating in the SGS drop resistance test. This is a brutal test, but Y04, with its Anti-Drop design, withstood the drop from a small height 32,000 times. This Military-grade certification is something we all look forward to after the phone’s debut in the local market.

The phone also has a dual-speaker setup since there’s also a top-mounted grille on the phone to enclose one of the speakers in the renders. Vivo 04 has also got a side-fingerprint reader. This option was not available in Y03, so we believe it’s a step in the right direction.

It should give you secure access to your home screen and light up the panel for a glance since it’s also a power button. Vivo decided to go with a 5500mAh battery here, and that could allow at least 19 hours of video playback on YouTube. By the time Vivo Y04 is released in Pakistan, the company might fill us in with the rest of its details, so stay tuned.
