Vivo’s budget newcomer under R&D, AKA “Vivo Y100,” will soon commence. The device has leaked with specs multiple times, but very few discussed its launch timeline. It was about time a legitimate claim about its debut period surfaced online.
The newcomer is drawing way to launch in Pakistan as well. Usually reliable and well-versed leak source, Paras Guglani, claims that Vivo Y100 is about a week away from launch. His proposed timeline is for India, but ascertaining from Vivo’s typical release pattern, Y100’s bound to go official in Pakistan afterward.
His claims seem valid. Since Vivo has already started teasing the device, it should debut in a few days, and the release pattern won’t stray far from Pakistan. We should be hearing from the company about it soon. Here’s everything the tipster gave away in terms of specs and pricing.
Touted to have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Vivo Y100 uses a Dimensity 920 6nm engine under the hood and features 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB inbuilt storage. In design, It comes with Vivo’s iconic color-changing back. The Vivo Y100 is expected to fit within the Vivo price list with a competitive price point.
Two black discs pop out from its back mounted with a 64MP primary unit, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the forehead, Vivo has endowed it with a 16MP selfie shooter. The tipster also mentions a 5000mAh cell powering the phone with support for 44W wired charging.
The phone allegedly boots to an outdated Android 12 OS, which might not be the case. The tipster claims its price to be somewhere near 350$. That roughly converts to Pakistani ~97,500 PKR.
