Vivo has just dropped a bombshell with the official release of the Vivo Y12 4G. Launched formally in China, it packs a punch with a 6.56-inch drop-notch display offering a crisp HD+ resolution (720 x 1612 pixels). Under the hood, it's fueled by the robust Helio G85 chip, teaming up seamlessly with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

Storage won't be a concern here since the Vivo Y12 packs a spacious 128GB of eMMC 5.1 memory, expandable further via a microSD card slot. Whether you're a shutterbug or just love capturing life's moments, the dual-camera setup on the rear has your back.

Vivo Y12 4G has a 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, accompanied by an LED flash, delivering impressive shots. Flip it over, and the phone’s 8MP front camera stands ready for stunning selfies.

Security is tight with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face-unlock feature on the latest Vivo budget mobile. Powering all these features is a hefty 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging through a convenient USB-C port. And yes, the cherished 3.5mm audio jack is intact for those who prefer a wired audio experience.

Running on Origin OS 3, based on Android 13, the Vivo Y12 4G keeps things smooth and intuitive. Compact at 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09mm and a feather-light 186 grams, it's designed for on-the-go convenience.

The price tag is even more exciting. Costing just under 999 Yuan (~$140/PKR 40,000), the Vivo Y12 4G is a steal. It's available in China in two stunning colors, Wild Green and Crystal Purple, catering to varied style preferences. There’s no word yet about its availability in other global markets.
