The 6/128GB version of Vivo Y19s is already available in Pakistan, although it is a bit pricey. So, they have launched the same device but with a different memory setting to cut the price ever so little, and facilitate sales. Vivo Y19s 4/128GB trim has now gone official in our market.
It’s a phone with a fast 90Hz IPS panel that’s also quite bright at 1000 nits max HBM. It’s a 6.68” display, decent enough for size, but you may have to compromise on the resolution as it’s only 720p HD+. Over the last-gen Vivo Y17s, this new handset at least has a less intrusive dot cutout.
There’s also low blue light TUV-approved eye protection, and they got it tested for military standard 810H compliant durability plus IP54 rating. There are two speakers on the top and bottom and you can boost them to 300% volume.
That camera included in the display is only a low-res 5 MP sensor, but towards the back side, it welcomes you to a 50 MP AI main shooter and an auxiliary lens. We also see Vivo’s special RGB ring light within this camera setting, and apparently, Vivo's new budget phone uses it for notifications.
Performance isn’t the strong suit for this particular handset with a Unisoc T612 engine. It’s more suited for light basic tasks, like browsing, streaming, and shorts. At least things are strong in the power section with Vivo 19s claiming a 5500mAh cell and 15W charging for backup. This new 4/128GB trim has a Rs 38,999 price tag.
