They released Vivo Y19s in Pakistan as soon as the other regions and it’s no surprise at all really; this phone is the perfect fit for our market, at least for how they priced it. Globally there are two memory options available for it, but we only have it in 6/128GB locally.
This phone is decent enough to impress a portion of our mobile market, design or otherwise. Y19s is a phone built around a 6.68” IPS that can push to 1000 nits of max brightness and do a 90Hz refresh rate. But there’s a little caveat here, a lower screen resolution of 720p.
They also gave it Low Blue Light Eye safety plus a punch-hole crop and that way, it can be less intrusive. Display aside, that selfie camera also seems okay-ish at 5 MP. The bell of the ball here is a 50MP AI rear sensor, backed by an auxiliary unit and an RGB notification light.
Usually, there’s an Aura fill-light on the back of all Vivo phones, but they are mixing it up a bit. This Vivo new budget phone also backs you up with a military standard 810H compliant durability and an IP64 rating, so it’s dust and waterproof. There are two speakers on the top and bottom and you can boost that to 300% volume.
It’s a Unisoc T612 engine pulling the load here, and as per their claim, the 5500mAh battery they used on Y19s can easily retain 80% health even after 4 years of use. 15W charging, a side fingerprint reader, and Bluetooth 5.2 are the other essential specs on the phone. Vivo Y19s (6/128GB) costs Rs 42,999 in Pakistan.
