Vivo Y19s Lands in an Overseas Market with Dual RAM Options; Pricing Revealed

Vivo Y19s debuted earlier in October and we covered it thoroughly in a news post, though its availability or pricing details were missing back then. But now that it has officially landed in Thailand, we finally have the price tags. Read on and find out if this phone’s worth the amount it costs for both the 4GB/6GB variants.

There’s a lot to like here. It’s a 6.68” IPS LCD, decently sized, and even gets you a 90Hz fast refresh rate, though it is a bit lacking on the resolution side. This is only a 720p HD+ panel, but it does peak at 1000 nits brightness so it’s plenty readable under harsh lights.

There’s a punch hole cutout here, something Y17s didn’t have the last time, and it’s home to a 5 MP selfie shooter. Also, in case you are confused about the flash LEDs on the back, there are two on the top side of the module, and we see a third ring RGB LED at the bottom for notifications.

Those two lenses on the rear side of the Vivo Y19s have a 50 MP + 0.08 MP sensor combo that can snap decent photos and even record 1080p 30 FPS videos. The Vivo latest budget phone’s Unisoc T612 chip may be the limiting factor for both screen resolution and video quality.

Funtouch OS 14 x Android 14 with up to 6 GB physical RAM is solid for a great user experience, and a 5500mAh battery will keep Y19s running for a long haul. They also gave this phone a 15W charging speed, dual speakers, and a fingerprint reader on the side, all the bells and whistles of an average daily driver. Vivo Y19s in 4/128 GB costs 4,399 THB (~PKR 36,000) and the 6/128 GB has a 4,999 THB (~PKR 40,000) price tag.
