Vivo Y200 enters Pakistan at long last. The company has announced pre-orders on the Vivo official Facebook page for the 8+256 GB variant and revealed its price. We’ll get an 8+128 GB variant too, and both versions come with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Vivo Y200 has had multiple iterations over time with different specs, and this Pakistani version is based on an AMOLED E4 6.67” panel. This uses a 120Hz refresh speed on a 1080p resolution and 1800 nits peak brightness. Its fingerprint ID is also built into the screen.
You will also spot a 32MP selfie sensor on the same AMOLED, built into a punch hole. On the rear, the cameras are semi-decent at 50 MP (main) and 2 MP resolution sensor for bokeh. Also, Vivo’s signature Auro Light flash is present here to assist with your portraits.
IP64 rating means that the latest Vivo 4G mobile is dustproof and partially resistant to water, but a more important feature is its Wet-hand Touch feature. It will predict touches even with liquid on the screen. AI imaging, AI Documents, AI Eraser, and AI Photo Enhancement seem to be a big part of its sales pitch.
Vivo Y200 can also push the volume up by 300% on Dual Speaker, so you can enjoy stereo sound with it. Snapdragon 685 controls the Android 14 system, albeit old, but still reliable for entry-level phones. And don’t forget, you score 8 GB RAM with it, helping with the multitasking.
Its 5000mAh typical-size battery is wired to 80W fast charging. If you buy this new Y200 by Vivo in Green, the thickness is only 7.79mm. But, the silver one is 7.95mm thick. You can pre-order and treat yourself to a Vivo Y200 (8/256GB) for only Rs 65,999/-.
