Vivo Y200 seems like a never-ending series by Vivo. They keep adding new entries to it, and we hear there's another one soon to join the lineup. A phone named Vivo Y200 GT is to arrive in the coming days. There was a teaser on the official Chinese website with a launch date.
There are no specifications, just the launch date. May 20 will be the date of its formal debut at 14:30 local time in China. And the renders visualized in the photo look somewhat familiar. Seems like the Y200 GT is really just an IQOO Z9 Turbo phone slapped with a Vivo label.
Let's revisit the IQOO Z9 Ultra specifications to make sense of the Y200 GT. We have a 6.72" AMOLED 1.5k resolution screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Z9 turbo does 4500nits peak brightness with that flat AMOLED. There's a chance that the Y200 GT may be the same.
IQOO Z9 Turbo has Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 running the show. It's a cut-down version of the original 8 Gen 3 and does everything with finesse. Android 14 Origin OS is the firmware inside, with a minimum of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage in the latest 5G Vivo mobile.
Cameras are the major player for Z9 turbo's fame. The main is 50MP OIS, and the second is an 8MP wide-angle image lens. Its selfies are high-res 16MP captures. You'll find that the flat slab has a 6000 mAh cell doing the heavy lifting. And an 80W wired charger backs it up with a 7.5W wireless solution thrown in there for fun. Vivo Y200 GT might be the same thing.
