Vivo Y200 Indexed on China Telecom Site; Design and Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch

Teasers are out, launch date revealed. At least, that is the current situation for the fourth and fifth members of the Vivo Y200 clan. Our regular readers must know that Y200 5G and Y200 GT are going official shortly. There was also a report earlier. No one can deny it at this point.

Ads were first. Then, there was a product page dedicated to those. We sure know how they look but didn't know how they performed. But that has ended. China Telecom pops up now and lists one of these models in its certification. That database now has a listing coded V2343A.

We read through the listing. This serial code is most definitely Vivo Y200. They might not have called it Y200 5G. But that was its name in the teasers. It may be because some regions have a different name for it than the other, but that's just our guess. Anyhow, there were some specs in the details.

We would not be wrong to call the Vivo 5G new smartphone a storage extravaganza. Because you see, in the start, there is 8GB + 128 GB. Up the ladder, it has got 8GB + 256GB. Other 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512 GB seem to be its primo configs.

A curve AMOLED seems to be pulling 2400 × 1080 resolution, which is plenty. Android 14 Funtouch OS is its default. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 could be its engine, but there's some uncertainty about it. 6000 mAh battery x 80W, that much we know from the official site. China Telecom says that there are 50MP + 2MP cameras there. 20th May is Vivo Y200's official date for the China launch.
