Vivo Y200 opened pre-orders in Pakistan last week, and now it’s up for grabs in the offline retail market. From what we’ve gathered, it’s a semi-premium phone and quite reasonably priced for its features. The option launched in our market has 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 Storage.
Vivo Y200 has had different specs in different regions, especially for this Pakistani version, which is based on an AMOLED E4 flat panel. This uses a 120Hz refresh speed on a 1080p resolution and 1800 nits peak brightness. Its fingerprint ID is also built into the screen. It is decent sized too at 6.67-inch.
On the rear, the cameras are a typical midrange duo with 50 MP (main) and 2 MP resolution lens for bokeh. Also, Vivo’s signature Auro Light flash is present here to assist with your portraits. You will also spot a 32MP selfie sensor on the front, which is not too shabby for the price.
The new Vivo budget mobile is also dust and slightly waterproof, but not completely submersible in water. It’s only IP64-rated. But it does have a Wet-Hand touch feature which lets you use the phone even if the screen is damp or your hands are wet. Of course, like any other halfway decent phone, it is chock-full of AI bits, like AI imaging, AI Documents, AI Eraser, and AI Photo Enhancement.
You can push this phone’s volume by 300% with Dual Speakers. Snapdragon 685 controls the Android 14 system. It’s not up to today’s standard, but still, you can count on it for reliability. 8GB RAM helps with the multitasks, and the 8-core SoC gives backup.
80W fast charging is a solid backup for Y200’s typical size 5000mAh battery. Vivo's new phone in Green is only 7.79mm thick. But for some reason, the silver one is 7.95mm thick. You can grab a Y200 by Vivo (8/256GB) off the shelf for only Rs 65,999/- from your local retail store.
