At the climax of its global debut, Vivo's budget entrant, Vivo Y22, makes its way to Pakistan. That's right; the phone has landed in Pakistan and is up for grabs in various retail markets all across the nation. Here's a full report about its price, variants, color options, and specs.

The phone has launched in Pakistan in only a 4GB + 64GB variant, which is a bit underwhelming considering the price. You'll find the box-packed phone near 48,000 Rs in the retail market and for 46,300 Rs from the Vivo dealers. With Y22's not-so-subtle price tag, one cannot be; but skeptical about its spec sheet.

Vivo Y22 has a sizable black-accented glass on the back holding two giant lenses. But that's all for the show; only the primary 50MP camera benefits from the big lens. The other is just a measly 2MP auxiliary sensor. Its chassis has a bar-like form factor with jagged right-angled edges and rounded corners.

On the front, the latest Y Vivo mobile bears a 6.55-inch 2.5D curved IPS display with a lowly 60Hz refresh rate on 720p resolution and an average screen-to-body ratio of 82.4%. Vivo's iconic V-notch intrusively melts into the screen's top.

The all-new Y22 has a sustainable CPU, MediaTek's mid-range Helio G85, which boasts clock speeds of 2.0GHz and incorporates a Mali-G52 integrated graphics unit for gaming. Its chassis envelopes a standard 5000mAh battery rated for 18W charging to keep the CPU fed.

Under the notch, there's an 8MP selfie shooter. On the right edge is a power-key embedded biometric for security, and down at the bottom is a Type-C 2.0 port plus a 3.5mm jack. Vivo Y22 can endure minor splashes thanks to the IP54 rating. It runs Android 12 OS by default. With its current sky-high price tag, 4+64 GB, the users are attracted more towards the Vivo Y21 price in Pakistan while the legatee is sure to receive a lot of criticism.
