Vivo's innovative price lineup, the Y-series, expects a score of multiple newcomer handsets. Latest from the Chinese brand, the Vivo Y35 officially debuted in Indonesia a few days ago, and now the Y22s gets unveiled in Vietnam. That leaves us with Y16, Y01A, and Y22. They will all pop up in the market one after the other.
After Several leaks, certification listings, mockup previews, and the freshly tipped real-life image the Vivo Y22s launch finally concludes in Vietnam with Snapdragon 680 SoC under the hood. The handset is also expected to roll out to other countries soon. Let's take a quick look at the all-new Y22s.
Weighing around 192 grams the handset measures 164.30×76.10×8.38mm. By the looks of it, Vivo Y22s renders leaked a few days ago sync up perfectly with the real deal. Looking at the phone's rear design, we have Vivo's signature gradient sky blue color on the right and a new dark blue color on the left. It has refined circular corners and flat metallic rims around the phone.
The volume rockers and power key seem embedded on the right side. The power key doubles up as a side-facing fingerprint scanner. There's an 8MP selfie snapper at the front while the rear flaunts a camera-centric rectangular cutout, and two huge lenses live inside. The dual-layout captures photos using a 50MP lens paired with a 2MP assistive macro sensor.
Vivo Y22s has a 6.55-inch LCD screen with a max 1080p resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The new addition to the Vivo price catalog runs Android 12 x Funtouch OS 12 and uses the Snapdragon 680 (6nm) chipset to boost it. You can choose from Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan shades.
The phone hooks up to a dense 5000mAh battery pack for power and recharge using 18W brick. Y22s offers 8GB of memory plus 128GB of storage space starting at VND 59,90,000 or roughly Rs 55,000. No word yet on the phone's arrival in Pakistan. We will keep you posted about the latest developments.
