Since the beginning of May, Vivo has been making waves with a foray of smartphone launches, both in Chinese and the global market. Nearing the end of this month, the company intends to launch the Vivo S17 lineup — soon to be known as the Vivo V29 series in international markets.
Among the bustling wave of smartphone debuts, Vivo plans to engage in the entry-level smartphone market again with the launch of Vivo Y27. The intriguing newcomer has surfaced on the Google Play Console database revealing key specs.
Vivo Y27 5G, identified by its model number V2248 on the Google Play Console, strikingly resembles the recently launched Vivo Y36 5G. Speculative reports lead to the same conclusion. Underneath its sleek exterior, the smartphone imminently houses the powerful MediaTek MT6833 SoC, also known as the Dimensity 6020.
The chipset, found in the new 5G Vivo mobile, boasts two cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz, complemented by the Mali G57 GPU for exceptional graphics performance.
The available info on GPC suggests that the Vivo Y27 will feature 6GB of RAM and ship with Android 13 straight out of the box. While further details regarding the device remain scarce, it shouldn’t stray far from the Vivo Y36 5G’s footnotes, bringing a stunning 6.44-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup on Y27 5G may include a 50MP primary sensor paired with an auxiliary 2MP depth lens and an LED flash. On the front side, a 16MP shooter is poised to capture selfies. Credible details on the subject may appear soon, so stay tuned.
