Vivo has been very active in Pakistan’s smartphone market lately. And they are about to announce a new one to keep their spree going. Vivo Y28 will soon reach our market as an entry-to-mid-range device. We have all its details here, so you can decide whether to pass or purchase it upon launch.
Vivo Y28 4G is a punch-hole 6.68” IPS display phone. There’s a 90Hz refresh rate and about 1000nits brightness. But keep note of it’s 720p resolution and nothing more than a 264 PPI. While the screen bears little focus, the main highlight of this phone might be its battery x charging.
It fits a 6000mAh cell inside an 8mm chassis. That bulky power source refills using Vivo’s 44W FlashCharge. There’s 16-ish GB RAM (8GB physical + 8GB virtual), so it’s apt for multitasking. Helio G85, with its Funtouch OS 14, should have no problem running an Android 14 OS.
High-brightness eye protection is one of its better qualities. Y28 4G is TUV low Bluelight certified. And they include Stepless HBM and Global DC dimming here in the Vivo future's 4G mobile to protect your eyes. Its IP64 rating is a big score for users who rough and tumble with their gadgets.
Around the back lay two cameras, one of which is a 50 MP headliner, and the other is a 2 MP auxiliary. An 8 MP selfie sensor is on the front, cropped into a punch hole. The base config of this phone is 8/128 GB eMMC 5.1. There are no details on its price yet, but we’ll find out soon enough.
