Vivo Y28 landed in Pakistan about halfway through 2024, and in October, Vivo even expanded its memory options with a new 6/128GB variant. They recently cut the price tag of the 6GB option, but the original kept the same sticker price as before, until this point. Its 8GB option is more affordable in our market now.
Vivo Y28 (8/128GB) is now cheaper in Pakistan by Rs 2,000. The official price tag goes down from Rs 50,000 to Rs 47,999, which is intriguing for an IP64-rated build like Y28. It’s packing some neat features and you have entry-to-mid-range specs here.
A 720p 6.68” LCD lies on top of the Vivo Y28. It’s not winning any prizes quality-wise, but we still have 1000nits brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate to compensate for that low pixel count. The punch hole crop on the screen makes it minimal, and Vivo certified it for low blue light emission via TUV Rheinland.
As we said, an IP64 dust and water resistance rating is available on this Vivo latest budget handset, so it will also check the box for durability. Running Android 14 Funtouch 14 OS won’t be a hassle with a Helio G85 SoC, and a higher RAM capacity at 8GB will be a big help for smooth multitasking.
Its square camera island has a presentable look and dual lenses with 50 MP and 2 MP resolution. Then, there’s an 8 MP selfie unit on the front side. Vivo Y28’s power source is a 6000mAh cell and you get 44W charging as backup. Its fingerprint reader lies on the side with stereo speakers. Rs 47,999 is a perfectly reasonable price for such hardware, so it might be worth looking into Vivo Y28 (8/128GB).
