Vivo Y28 Price Slashed in Pakistan; Save Up to Rs 3,000 on 6GB and 8GB Models

Vivo Y28 is now more affordable in Pakistan with the company’s readjusted price tags. This device was released in our market last year in mid-October with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants. Vivo has now decided to slap discounts on both these models, saving you up to Rs 3,000 at retail.

Instead of Rs 45,000, Vivo Y28 (6/128GB) is now priced at Rs 42,999 in Pakistan. The variant with 8/128GB memory now costs Rs 44,999, dropped from the original Rs 48,000 price tag. Before you make up your mind to purchase this device, here are all the things you should know about Vivo Y28.

This phone has a 6.68” HD+ LCD on the front side. The resolution could’ve been improved at this price, but we still have 1000-nits brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate to compensate for that low pixel count. It even brings a modern punch-hole cutout, and it’s rated for low blue light emission with safe DC dimming.

High-brightness eye protection is one of the new Vivo 4G mobile’s better qualities. This phone is TUV low Bluelight certified. The company includes Stepless HBM and Global DC dimming here for sensitive eyes. It will endure rough usage and keep water and dust ingress to a minimum with an IP64 rating.

Keep in mind that the Vivo Y28 is a few months old, so it only brings the outdated Android 14 out of the box. Helio G85 handles the processing, and up to 8 GB of physical RAM does the heavy lifting for multitasks. With occasional hiccups and lags, we foresee a reliable performance from Vivo Y28.

Then, we have the phone’s battery specifications. Its 44W charging is perfectly acceptable at the price, and it’s also crucial, seeing that the Vivo Y28 brings a massive 6000mAh battery inside. It’s also pretty light at 199g for a device with such a huge power source under the hood.

There are two cameras on the back. In a squared camera island, there’s a 50MP Main shooter and a 2 MP assistive lens. Also, we have an 8MP selfie snapper on top of the screen. The price cuts announced by the company today should put Vivo Y28 back into the spotlight and hopefully, rejuvenate some sales in the process.
