Vivo, as a smartphone brand, plays the number game. It offers a plethora of smartphones at all price points for every type of consumer. Most of these devices fall under the Y series, which is expecting two new additions. The smartphones in question are the Y30 5G and the Y02s that have recently appeared on the radar. Let’s see what features these handsets bring onboard.
Vivo Y30 5G
The Y30 5G recently clinched the NBTC certification, hinting toward its imminent launch. The smartphone is expected to deploy a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. This setup will probably run on a 5,000 mAh battery cell charging at a sluggish 10W.
A basic 6.51’’ 720p IPS LCD will allegedly cover the front having an 8MP selfie shooter embedded within. The dual rear cameras will be placed at the polycarbonate rear casing consisting of a 13MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
Y30 5G will operate on Android 12, customized by FunTouch OS. Like the 4G variant of the Y30, this 5G one will also be a budget-segment device.
Vivo Y02s
According to the rumors, Y02s will be powered by an Helio P35 SoC, while screen size and resolution will expectedly be identical to the Y30 5G. It will be an entry-level smartphone with a 3GB/64GB storage configuration.
The Y02s will expectedly embrace the same 8MP single primary rear shooter from the Y01, while the front lens will probably be 5MP. Thankfully, a 5,000 mAh will not disappoint you, unlike the other internals.
The handset might go official before we enter August at a $113 or PKR 24,000 price point. Let’s wait for the official announcement from Vivo, which will apparently take place on 28 July.
