The Y-series from Vivo is the most versatile and ever-expanding lineup, and a new member has joined the herd. The handset in question is the Vivo Y30 5G, recently making its way to Thailand. Conveying 5G connectivity at an affordable price is the Y30 5G’s aim while also delivering the best bang for your buck. Here’s everything the smartphone brings to the table.
You get a sleek and modern design with the new 5G variant of the Vivo Y30 crafted in Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy finishes. Thanks to its 193g weight and 8.25mm slim body, it offers a pleasant grip. A dual camera layout adorns the rear panel featuring 50MP f/1.8 aperture primary and 2MP bokeh lenses.
A 6.51’’ HD+ IPS screen covers the front, offering a 20:9 aspect ratio, 88.99% screen-to-body ratio, and 72% wide color gamut. A waterdrop notch at the top encases the 8MP selfie lens.
Powering the Y30 5G is the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset with clock speeds up to 2.2 GHz. The 5G functionality on Y30 5G is further enriched by Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and full dual SIM utility.
There’s a 5,000 mAh battery juicing up the Y30 at a mere 10W speed. The latest Vivo 5G mobile runs Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12 out of the box. You get 6GB (expandable up to 8GB) RAM and 128GB onboard storage. A USB Type-C port, 3.5mm jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face unlocking round off the Vivo Y50 5G.
The all-new Vivo Y30 5G is priced at THB 8,699 in Thailand, which translates to some 54,000 Pakistani Rupees. There’s no official word from Vivo regarding the handset’s next destination; however, we expect the handset to hit more Asian markets soon.
