Vivo Y300 5G Caught in the Wild; Color Options Revealed Via Live Images

It’s quite late in the race, but the vanilla Vivo Y300 will soon join the rest of the group, probably by the end of November. Y300 Plus and Y300 Pro already made it out in the last two months, but now it’s the standard Y300 5G’s turn, and there’s a lot to look out for.

We hear the Vivo Y300 will be unveiled on November 21st in an overseas market, and this phone is painted in at least three color options. Two of those colors got leaked in a live hands-on preview and the phone seems quite close to the appearance of Vivo V40 Lite.

Expectedly, Vivo Y300 5G has a ~$236 price tag (per the rumors), which converts to around 65,000 rupees in Pakistani currency. Of course, we are waiting for the official price to drop, but expect it to be in the ballpark if or when the phone comes out in our market.

Now, for the rumors about Y300 being a rebranded Vivo V40 Lite: that gives us almost everything we need to know about the handset. The Vivo budget new model is probably an entry-point daily driver with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 that also hosts a 6.67” 1080p FHD+ AMOLED clocked to a 120Hz refresh rate.

There’s a 5000mAh battery underneath that plastic IP64-rated hood, recharging at 80W speed. 8 MP ultrawide camera tagged along with its 50 MP main shooter, and the selfie camera is 32 MP. If the Vivo Y300 is internally a twin of the V40 Lite, this handset will be a great starting point for the series.
