The all-new Vivo Y300 5G has officially launched, and just as we suspected, it’s a one-to-one replica of the Vivo V40 Lite (Indonesia) apart from the camera change, which we’ll talk about later. They gave it an amazing display, it’s also quite durable, and the charging speeds are top-of-the-line.

Vivo Y300 5G initially launched in India, following the teasers, but it will surely move on to several other countries in the coming days. Out of the box, you first peep an amazing design painted in three gorgeous finishes: Titanium Silver, Carbon Black, and Emerald Green.

It’s raised flat from the sides with an AMOLED screen slapped on top, having a 1080p resolution. They used a 6.67” panel here that can refresh at a 120Hz refresh rate, and reach brightness levels of 1800 nits. The bezels are also symmetrical, so the phone feels conventionally premium.

Vivo's latest budget phone’s camera game is also strong because it uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor under the main lens and gets assistance from a 2 MP bokeh sensor. Its aura light adds a nice touch to the photos. We also find a 32 MP selfie shooter on the front side.

An 80W fast charging input is hands down the most appealing feature Y300 has on the roster. With the charger plugged in, the phone reaches 80% within half an hour. But a 5000mAh battery is standard capacity. It won’t last more than a full day.

Y300 5G’s IP64 rating helps resist dirt and minor water splashes. Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 should handle its Android 14-based Funtouch OS without hassle, and there’s a fingerprint reader on the screen, which is pretty neat. The official price of the Vivo Y300 5G is around $260 (~PKR 72,000) for the base 8/128GB trim.
