Vivo Y300 5G has been out for a while but the global variant was never unveiled in the Chinese market. As an alternative, the company launched a new variant in China with the same moniker but the hardware is upgraded many folds over the original. Looking at the spec sheet, it competes on the level of Vivo Y300 Pro.
Vivo Y300 from China scores a 120Hz AMOLED panel at 6.77” with minimal borders and a punch hole. This display can reach 1800 nits peak brightness and the best part about this is a 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Eye fatigue won’t be a problem for Y300 users.
PWM is set to 2160Hz by default but when the developer mode is on, it will reach 3840Hz. Vivo was especially attentive to the phone’s loudness and audio. Y300 has three speakers, not two as you would expect from a typical handset. Two speakers on the top and bottom are standard, but Y300 has a third, mounted on the rear side.
This setup is 600% louder than your normal device and because of its three speakers, it can even produce directional 3D panoramic audio. Vivo's latest 5G model also remodeled the rear design and the camera appearance is completely new. 50 MP rear camera, two auxiliary sensors, and an 8 MP selfie camera handle videos and photography.
Vivo Y300 is only 7.8mm thin, yet the battery inside is 6500mAh. It’s also durable and tested for an IP64 dust and splashproof rating and SGS 5-star drop and fall protection. This new Vivo Y300 has a Dimensity 6300 chip, starting at an 8/128GB memory option, priced at CNY 1,399 (~PKR 53,000). This specific Y300 variant is limited to the the Chinese market only as the rest of the world has already received the international version, featuring slightly toned-down hardware.
