Vivo Y300+ Appears on IMEI Database, Expanding the Lineup to Three Devices

We've been tracking some of the Y300 series phones through leaks and certifications, and believe us when we tell you that the launch isn't far now. Y300 Pro has come up many times in the headlines. It was about time they revealed Vivo Y300+ 5G also through certifications.

It's now up and listed on the IMEI, squeezed right in with Y300 5G and Y300 Pro 5G. 'V2422' is the model code they assigned to Vivo Y300 Plus 5G. The way they named it, Y300+ won't be as good as the Pro, but relatively better than the standard Y300 5G.

All we've got from this listing is the name and the model number for Y300+. It was void of any helpful tips about the hardware or software. But it's always a good idea to look back one generation to surmise what the latest model could be like.

Vivo made at least six Y200 phones that we know of to exist. And none have 'Plus' in their titles. But if we have to choose one, that Vivo 5G latest model will build on the existing hardware of the Y200. It showed up with an AMOLED back in 2023. And not just any panel but a 120Hz one.

We know it to have a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. A Chinese version that came after that had SD 4 Gen 2. Plus, it pulled off 1080p resolution without a sweat. 64MP camera and 16MP selfie shooter were the source of much of its hype. Even on the power side, it checked the right boxes with 4800mAh cell x 44W charging.
