Vivo Y300 Pro 5G in the Works; Seems Promising Based on the Forerunner's Hardware

We hear Vivo is finally done spinning off the same Y200 moniker with every consecutive phone from their pipeline. They may now move on to the Y300 series in a not-so-distant future. We came across several Y200 phones in the last few months. All of those were unique. And among them was this premium Y200 Pro 5G. Today's news is about its successor, the 'Vivo Y300 Pro 5G.'

We collected details about it from a reputable publication. Vivo Y300 Pro 5G may have the model code 'V2402.' It's eerily close to Y200 Pro 5G from one generation back with code V2401. There aren't many details out there. But no doubt Vivo has plans to introduce it very soon.

No details or official specs about it are out there to refer to. But market trends and past generations often leave clues about what we can expect from future phones. So, we looked into Y200 Pro 5G to color our expectations. Vivo's latest 5G model will be a worthy competitor if it builds and improves on previous hardware.

AMOLED 120Hz packed into a 6.78" display gave Y200 Pro that premium status. It was a 1080p high-def screen. And atop that was a 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint ID. We know Android 14 and FunTouchOS 14 controlled the software side of things.

Snapdragon 695 chip pulled the hard labor behind the scenes. And we believe it had a maximum of 8 GB RAM. A 5000 mAh x 44W input power source living under the hood energized all that hardware for a long haul. There will be upgrades on this specs sheet when and if Vivo introduces Y300 Pro 5G. And the prospective phone seems compelling to us.
