Vivo Y300 Pro Debuts with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Premium OLED, and 80W Charging

Leaks and certifications foreshadowed that there's a Vivo Y300 Pro in R&D they plan to unveil soon. And today, they have made it official in China. This one is strongly mid-range, but there are some features you can only find in the premium categories. Let us show you what Vivo Y300 Pro is all about.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC is why we call this phone strongly mid-range. This platform is a 4nm Adreno 710 5G-supported chip. They pair it with either 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, and the storage will go as high as 512 GB. All of it seems ideal for software based on Android 14.

They use a screen type here that helps with super uniform bezels. Y300 Pro is an OLED model with a panel size of 6.77 inches. 10-bit color depth and 120Hz refresh rate already put this screen in the upper echelon. But wait till you hear about its brightness: 5000nits with HDR ability.

There's a night-and-day difference if you put Vivo Y300 Pro and Y200 Pro side by side. The upgrades are just that significant. They used a newer 50 MP lens at the back with a 2 MP depth mapper on the Vivo new 5G mobile. And there's a better selfie camera of 32 MP resolution, twice as good as Y200 Pro's 16MP.

Sure, on paper, the thickness is up by 0.2mm, but a 6500mAh battery at its hull still seems unreal when the older one only had a 5000mAh. Even the charging speed has doubled from 44W to 80W in one generation. Vivo Y300 Pro starts at only CNY 1,799 (~PKR 70,000), and that's for the base 128 GB option.
