Vivo Y300 Spotted in a Leak with Expected Launch Window and Color Options

The Vivo Y300 Pro has been announced, and so has the “Y300 Plus” but the only one missing so far is the standard Vivo Y300, which could arrive as early as this month. We found a leak earlier that spilled some important details about Y300, alongside a launch window.

MySmartPrice has claimed through a report that the Vivo Y300 will arrive sometime in November 2024, but the exact launch date is anyone’s guess. They might start marketing this new handset and release some warmup teasers in a few days, leading to an official announcement shortly.

Y300 will be a phone with titanium-inspired colors, especially the “Titanium Silver” texture for the main option. There will also be a Phantom Purple color and an Emerald Green version, probably something derivative of the Y300 Plus design.

There’s also a chance that the Vivo new 5G handset will snap photos through a flagship-type Sony IMX882 outsole and bear an AI Aura light like the other Y300 siblings in the family. We also hear that this handset will recharge the battery using 80W SuperVOOC input — way better than the Y300 Plus’ 44W charging.

With the Plus in its name tag, the older sibling will be better at some things than the Vivo Y300. It could be the SoC or the camera specs. Y300 Plus has a Snapdragon 695, a 32 MP selfie cam, and a 50 MP rear shooter, not to forget an Android 14 Funtouch OS. You can expect the standard Y300 to be a close second.
